This Stanley Tool Chest provides maximum storage and easy transportation for larger tools, general equipment and workshop materials. The chest has extra large, rust-resistant metal latches, which are durable and long lasting. For extra security, the chest has an integrated key lock and the latches have padlock eyes. The chest has a telescopic steel handle with soft grip for easier transportation, and it comes complete with a removable tote tray. It has wide, heavy-duty, rubber coated wheels for durability. The lid acts as a wide work surface, that includes two 2in x 4in saw grooves. The Stanley Works, originally a bolt and door hardware manufacturing company located in New Britain, Connecticut; was founded in 1843 by Frederick T. Stanley. A few years later, in 1857, Fredericks cousin, Henry Stanley, founded The Stanley Rule and Level Company. In 1920, The Rule and Level Company merged with The Stanley Works and would go on to become its famous Hand Tools Division.
